During this season of compassion, please appeal to the conscience of the mayor and trustees. Call or send an email THIS WEEK (preferably today) to join a groundswell of voices around the world urging them to soften their hearts and pursue a non-violent alternative to baiting and killing these gentle animals who live in people's back yards and have grown to trust humans. The mayor and trustees currently plan to shoot nearly every deer within village boundaries in the head, pregnant does and fawns included, then dissolve their heads, hooves, intestines and fawn corpses with lime in a dumpster.
